On 3 May, GAAMAC’s Asia Pacific Working Group held a dissemination workshop in Dhaka, Bangladesh. This hybrid session presented its 2021 report on hate speech and incitement in the region and its key recommendations.
Slovenia joined GAAMAC in April 2023, along with Chile. This week, it will be holding the Responsibility to Protect in Theory and Practice Conference in the capital, Ljubljana.
Three GAAMAC community members – the Global Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (GCR2P), the Montreal Institute for Genocide and Human Rights Studies (MIGS) and the Sentinel Project – called on Canada to mobilize its allies to prevent atrocities better and earlier.
