On 3 November 2022, GAAMAC will convene the workshop “Promoting human rights as an atrocity prevention mechanism: engaging armed and security forces and non-state actors”
The workshop will analyse the nexus between human rights violations, violent conflict and the commission of atrocity crimes. The workshop will showcase innovative partnerships and initiatives towards changing the culture within the armed and security forces and armed non-State actors towards the respect of international human rights and international humanitarian law.
