The International Coalition of Sites of Conscience (ICSC) is a worldwide network of over 300 “Sites of Conscience” – historic sites, museums, and memory initiatives – in 65 countries that activate the power of places of memory to engage the public with a deeper understanding of the past and inspire action to shape a just future.
GAAMAC’s mission is tied to ICSC’s commitment to elevate the historical narratives and contemporary experiences of the most marginalized groups around the globe, especially given that they are at the most risk of enduring serious human rights violations. As a network itself, ICSC also understands the importance of collaboration and shared learning.
