Social media and conflict in Iraq and Democratic Republic of Congo

17 January 2020
PeaceTech Lab recently published new hate speech Lexicons on social media and conflict in Iraq and in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Since 2014, PeaceTech Lab has been working with local partners in different parts of the world to understand the dynamics of online hate speech and the connection between online hate speech and violent events offline.

In an effort to address a gap in efforts to combat hate speech and to mitigate its effect on communities in conflict, PeaceTech Lab regularly publishes hate speech lexicons.
