This book presents summary of proceedings from the 3rd Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide, which was held on December 9-11, 2018 in Yerevan, Armenia, and was dedicated to the issues of genocide prevention through education, culture and museums. It examined the challenges and opportunities, experiences and perspectives of the genocide education.
This publication provides necessary information on delivered statements, remarks and side events and offers deliberations which might be helpful for the global cause of prevention of the crime of genocide.
The book features GAAMAC chair Mô Bleeker’s speech (p.35) at the high level dialogue on the topic of genocide prevention through education. Members of GAAMAC’s Steering Group, partners and GAAMAC global meeting participants contributed to the Forum as panelists.
The 4th Global Forum Against the Crime of Genocide is planned to take place on December 9-10, 2020 in Yerevan, under the title “Women and
Girls: Challenging Victim Paradigm”. Information about the program and logistics will be provided at a later stage.
